Anne A. Ward Chosen As a Finalist in 2014 SXSW’s Interactive Festival Speaker Sessions

CEO of CircleClick and Team in the Running to Present to Thousands of SXSW Attendees About #SocialMedia


November 7, 2013 – San Francisco, CA – Anne A. Ward, CEO of CircleClick, is among the finalists being considered to hold a session at the 2014 South by South West (SXSW) Interactive Festival in Austin for her team’s proposal “#WeMadeItWeird: Social Media & Augmented Reality”.

The SXSW PanelPicker received over 3,300 submissions from industry experts globally, and only about 15% will hold sessions from March 7-11, 2014. The majority of the panelists were chosen in October, but Ward’s proposal is one of 250 that the PanelPicker team is still deliberating on.

If chosen, Ward would present with Dashiell Driscoll of Funny or Die, Derek Andersen of StartupGrind, and Greg Tseng of Tagged. The panel plans to discuss the augmented reality of today’s ‘social lives’ which revolve around a number of social media presences. This riveting discussion will cover a number of real-life examples, connecting an audience of all demographics and involvement in social media.

SXSW is an annual music, film, and interactive conference and festival held in Austin. It draws professionals around the world for thought-provoking, powerful discussions from influential industry leaders during the Interactive portion of the festival. Ward, from Austin, TX, is an annual attendee of the festival but has not been a featured speaker in past festivals.

As a leader in the digital marketing industry, Ward is eager to present her ideas regarding the new age of social media to potentially 7,000 of SXSW attendees.
